STEP 3

CHILD PROTECTION POLICY & BLUECARD

Our Child Protection Policy is adapted by the Australian Christian Churches

It's essential for all volunteers, across every team, to have read through and gained an understanding of the ACC Child Protection Policy that we abide in.

Obtaining a Working with Children's Blue Card QLD is essential for all volunteers serving across all of our teams.

  • If you already have a Blue Card or exemption, volunteer or paid, please enter the details in the growth track form which is the Next Step.

  • If you don't have a current Blue Card, simply click on the link below, scroll down reading the information, click ‘Apply Online’ then click ‘Register for an online account’ and follow the steps. Blue Card uses your ID from the Transport & Main Roads which is usually your driver’s licence. When you have created an online account please enter your Account number on the growth track form and submit the form. We will then set up a link for you to apply as a Volunteer. After that you will be able to return to the bluecard website and apply for your blue card. (Note, there is no fee associated for a Volunteer Blue Card).

Before progressing on to the next step, you agree to being made aware of the requirements to read through and understand the ACC Child Protection Policy, and for those interested in Youth or Children's Ministry, also completing the ACC Safer Churches Training Which we will help you with after your blue card is granted.
